After graduating from McQuaid, Jackson attended John Carroll University where he played both football and lacrosse. During the summers he was a member of the Rochester J-Hawks Jr. B box lacrosse program.

Following graduation, he played internationally in Australia for Bayswater Lacrosse Club. Upon Returning home, Jackson continued his playing career in the box game as a member of the Rochester River Monsters, San Diego Whalers, Peterborough Timbermen, and Seneca Lake Serpents.

Jackson began his coaching career while in Australia, and has continued to do so at all levels. He has spent the past season as the Head Coach for the JV lacrosse team at McQuaid as well as assisting with the USA Women’s National Box Lacrosse Team.
