At Jacksonville, he was named captain for the program’s inaugural season where the Dolphins finished with a 6-7 record, winning games against Denver, Mount St. Mary’s, and Rutgers. Jake, a 3-year starter on defense, finished his career as a program leader in caused turnovers, ground balls, and games started.

He maintained a 3.8/4.0 GPA while at Jacksonville. Other academic accomplishments include: Dean’s List 2011-2012, Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in Communications, and acceptance into Lambda Pi Eta – National Communication Association.

After college, Jake was drafted by the Rochester Rattlers, and has since worked professionally in communications and marketing.
